21st month

This is supposed to be a happy post, but my whole mood was changed by something i saw.

Anyway, 101006 which is yesterday, was two 21-year old's 21st month together. They went on a trip after school to the new Vivocity at harbourfront. It's a very huge building which obviously covers a large floor area. Many shops are not open yet, but still walking around took quite a bit of time, maybe it's cause' of the big space. Most of the clothing and apparel shops like Zara, Forever 21, Esprit, Topshop can be found there, GAP is also opening soon, think in november. It pretty much looks like some high-class shopping area with many other international brands.
There's a rooftop garden which provides a view of the sea and sentosa opposite. You can also see the new sentosa tram in action. However it's kinda hot and sunny up there so be prepared.

The couple watched World Trade Center at the new GV Max, the seats are spacious and comfortable, in between rows there's a huge space to allow others to walk pass. Other than that, nothing special about the cinema. Ate popcorn and cheesy hotdogs, long time since the girl ate popcorn, but so many of it were tasteless. They had dinner at New York Pizza, rather value for money. Next was fondue at Haagen dazs. Perhaps the staff were too busy, the fondue took very long to come and the fruits were not cut properly, neither was the ice cream scooped well. Most importantly, there were so little strawberries!!
